It's a shame for, while it is a dated fil m, I find it quite uniqu e and surprisin g for it& ;#39;s era and a fairly suc cessful attemp t to cre ate something different in a n era w hen films were already b ecoming c ookie cutte r by-product s of the studi o machin e (not that many of those co okies aren& ;#39;t tasty, mind you ).
